Superuser UPDATE

Since I updated the Superuser app through Google Market the other day, every time I grant superuser permissions to any app, it notifies me saying "su binary outdated." When I click on it, it says
"downloading manifest... okay!
Parsing manifest... okay!
checking installed version = 2.3.1-ef"

and gives the option to update. When I update, it ends up saying "gaining root access... fail!"

I have root checker installed, and I'm completely rooted; no doubt. I can grant root access to any app that asks for it without problems. Anyone else having this issue? Pictures posted..

I have been having the same issues on my xoom. I understand there is yet a new Su update available through Rom manager and the market.

I have the same issue with my Samsung Charge.

Superuser did an update today and still no joy.

Are you getting the same message as the OP? After the second update to SuperUser I haven't had any problems.

Don't have my Charge rooted but I can tell you it's not specific to the Charge because it's also happening on my Xoom. There is what us supposed to be a fix in the market but it doesnt work for me.

I did a manual update on mine from the binary file on this site
http://androidsu.com/superuser/
use CWM to do the update from zip.

That got me up to 3.0. But apparently there is now a 3.0.1 that isnt listed on that site yet.

looks like the 3.0.3 bin file is up now.
