Huh. I have done some trade ins with them and purchased some uses stuff. Felt it was fair. I will say I'd feel better buying a used phone from game stop vs Craigslist

Same here...a place to look at used devices on a more retail setting. Always more comfortable.

That is very cool. They were reasonable with games for me in the past.

BestBuy has a buy-back that (when I head about it) was like 60% of the value of the product out of the gate. They just conveniently depreciate it for you. For iPads too which is funny, because I've actually sold one for profit a couple months after I bought it!

Well that's actually really cool! I don't know how many times when I go to sell something figuring out the depreciation on it can be such an arduous stress full process.

It's a run to the bottom with electronics in most cases. With Amazon, you can sit and wait to sell a hot item or drop it 10-20 bucks from the lowest price and watch it fly. So you can imagine that spiral, lol! I find eBay to be more profitable if I have an older item and put it on an auction. I was able to sell the iPad2 for profit after a couple of months (since I didn't use it much), because it was still hard to come by in stores and a long wait online. So you know how the gaga apple people can be...

Anyway I'd happily go negotiate at a small shop like GameStop. I can always leave, lol, but I'd hear them out.

Can you negotiate at game stop? My experience is their trade in values are preset. Or maybe I'm just the idiot they make money on lol

I dont hate game stop. Two things I'm not happy with tho, is why does a game without original packaging and a manual cost the same as one with both? And why does a used game that's still pretty new only cost $5 less than new?
