    How to restore contacts?

This afternoon I looked at my phone and all my contacts were gone except for the stock #BAL, #DATA, #MIN, #PMT. I have no idea how this happened. It seems pretty random as I wasn't doing anything on the phone. I am not able to figure out how to restore the contacts from backup assistant. I have it installed and it backs up every night but I don't see a restore option. In the meantime, I had created a backup on the SD card a few months ago so I restored from there, however, there are several contacts that I added since making the backup and I would like to have them as well.

Try going into your contacts...hit menu button...hit more...go to display options...make sure google contacts are visible...then try restoring contracts from google account

Have you ever tried logging into your Gmail account on a Computer?
If so you should be able to see you contacts there if you saved them to google in the first place.
What you mention above does not do that.
If you backed them up via the Verizon back up, look here:

Where you check to see what is visible contact wise, make sure everything is checked except maybe facebook. Check Phone and SIM
It could be you saved to your phone and they are just hidden.

Thanks for the response, ofcrlawless. I was able to use Backup Assistant to get them back. When I login to gmail, I don't see my phone contacts, just my email contacts...so yes, as you said, what I am doing above does not sync it.

Next step would be to export your contacts from the Verizon backup assistant and then import them to Google.

    tappin' that....
